Building the Women and Babies Hospital next to the Perth Children's Hospital not only makes sense - it'll also save lives.
It's the only option that will deliver the best possible care, health outcomes and service delivery for families and their babies. For the sickest and smallest babies, any travel to receive urgent lifesaving treatment can lead to death. Forcing families to travel 20-minutes to Fiona Stanley Hospital in Murdoch is a reckless decision by this government.
There are now hundreds of senior medical specialists across a range of specialties sounding the alarm and appealing to the Minister to stick to the plan and tri-locate this new hospital at QEII with a tertiary children’s and adults’ hospital, as is international best practice.
But they still won't listen.
The best way to pressure this government into reversing this Captain's Call is to send them a clear message. Get behind our cause and sign our petition now!
